Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres. The wood used as raw material for all LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres is sourced from controlled or certified origins meeting FSC® or PEFC standards*, following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy. The responsible production of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less CO2 compared to generic viscose fibres, according to Higg MSI, thereby saving precious resources for future generations. *FSC® (FSC-C041246) or PEFC (PEFC/06-33-92) certification. LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG
Fabric
One of our favourite fabrics, made from environmentally friendly viscose and linen. It is a weighty fabric with good drape and an interesting matte texture due to the diamond weave. The weight and drape of the fabric makes it a good choice for a wide range of styles, particularly those with pleats and tucks.
Factory
The garments are sewn by one of our oldest suppliers in China. We have worked together with Rita for more than 15 years on developing beautiful styles with fine detailing. It continues to be a wonderful experience working with such an excellent supplier.
