Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow.

Fabric
Woven in the style of classic denim, our pure linen indigo fabric combines the distinctive texture of linen with an effortless drape and soft, laundered feel. After spinning, half of the linen yarns are dyed with indigo, while the remaining yarns are left in their natural ecru shade. The characteristic denim appearance is created by weaving the indigo and undyed ecru yarns together in a 3/1 twill weave structure, creating the familiar diagonal texture associated with traditional denim. The fabric is then sewn into garments and washed to soften the indigo colour, enhancing the natural texture of the linen and achieving a relaxed, worn-in appearance.

Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
