Viscose is a cellulosic man-made fibre created from natural wood pulp. The wood pulp is purified and transformed into cellulose which then is extruded into yarn. Viscose has similar properties to cotton and silk combined. Our viscose is sourced in China. The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Fabric
Our woven fabric made with linen and viscose creates a lightweight fabric with excellent drape and a natural slightly crisp feel. Once spun the yarn is woven into a fabric that is digitally printed with our unique designs. Finally, it is finished with a light wash.
Factory
The garments are made by our supplier in China region where silk has been produced for thousands of years. Huzhou city where the factory is located is often called the “hometown of silk” as it is considered to be one of the birthplaces for silk cultivation and still produces one of the best quality silks in the world.
