Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Our cotton is grown in China, Hebei province, and processed and spun in Zhejiang Province.
Fabric
Perfect for summer tops and dresses our lightweight linen and cotton jersey is breathable and comfortable. The usually sturdy linen yarn is knitted creating soft fabric with a great drape. The linen and cotton yarns are spun and then knitted on circular knitting machines. The knitted fabric is then prepared by starching and digitally printed with our unique artworks. Afterward, it is washed, dried and finished. The garments from this fabric are made by ‘cut and sew’ method and always finished with refined rib trims.
Factory
Our jersey garment supplier is based in Zhejiang province, near Shanghai, China. They are experts in working with fine linen and silk jersey fabrics and we have been working with them since 2008.
