Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Our wool is produced, processed and spun in China.
Fabric
The beauty of our herringbone-weave wool and linen fabric lies in the combination of fibres - the wool gives warmth whilst the linen adds drape and breathability. A casual tailoring fabric with a lovely weight and a textured appearance, perfect for dresses, skirts and trousers. The linen and wool fibres are spun together, then yarn-dyed, resulting in beautiful mélange colours. The garment-washing process adds texture and makes the herringbone pattern less defined.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
