Fibre
Our cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia where cashmere goats graze freely and the herdsmen follow appropriate standards of animal welfare and land management. We use only grade A cashmere fibre, only 15.5 microns thick which is very fine and has a longer staple length to ensure our knits remain soft and wear well.
Fabric
Our high-quality cashmere is knitted on a slightly higher tension than most conventional cashmere garments which gives it the unmistakable luxury feel. This also ensures a better quality and longer-lasting garment. It is carefully washed to open the fibre for the distinctive cashmere softness whilst keeping its shape. The fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.
Factory
Focused on creating low volume, high-quality garments, our Dongguan, near Hong Kong, based supplier is owned and managed by Jackie, recently with the involvement of his charming son Chapman. It is always a pleasure to visit Jackie and receive a sample from him as he nearly always interprets the design so well.
