Fibre
Our cotton is grown in the Shandong province of China.
Fabric
Corduroy is made by weaving extra sets of fibre into the base fabric to form vertical piles. It makes soft and versatile fabric. Corduroy fabric has a long history: first created in ancient Egypt, then adapted by the British monarchy and re-discovered by 70’s bohemians, it remains one of the most loved natural autumn/winter fabrics. This heavy-weight fabric features a wide and chunky cord with slight texture going across the pile, making the fabric softer and more supple.
Factory
The garments are made in Portugal by our supplier with whom we have worked for almost 10 years. Carla is always forthcoming and expert in her field, always a pleasure to work with.
